Hey! It’s me again. Here to tell you….

2026/2027 schedule has dropped for some sunny locations, and unfortunately I’m here to remind you that we do have some pretty frigid weather that is worth escaping if you can swing it!

Right now there are some early incentives available, including:
- ONLY $100 deposit per person
- $100 voucher per couple
- $1,000 in savings per couple

Most popular destinations are places like Mexico, Dominican Republic or Jamaica - but there are more islands out there that might even be calling your name!

This week I had the pleasure of learning about Guided Tours right from a representative of five major touring companies. Here are a few reasons you might choose to take a guided tour instead of independent travel.

1. Coordination of multiple flights, trains, hotels, ground transport, and excursions can be a lot to keep in order (especially if there is one hiccup along the way, rebooking can be fun 😅)

2. Your visiting a destination where language and transportation feels overwhelming

3. You enjoy meeting other travellers along the way

4. You will have access to experiences that you might never find on your own

5. Local guides can share hidden gems and local insights

There really is a tour for every travel style, destination, and comfort level.

After this week, I’ve definitely gained a new appreciation for guided travel 🌎✨

What kind of traveller are you?

I think there are 4 types of travellers:

The Relaxer
Vacation means sleeping in, pool days, beach walks, and not looking at a clock.

The Explorer
You want to see it all. Excursions, landmarks, hidden gems, and a camera roll full of memories.

The Foodie
Your itinerary revolves around local restaurants, markets, and trying something you’ve never eaten before.

The Experience Chaser
Ziplining, helicopter tours, theme parks, snorkeling, concerts—you want stories to tell when you get home.

Which one are you? Or are you a mix of a few?

I’m definitely a mix of The Explorer and The Experience Chaser. Give me a beautiful beach, a local restaurant, and something new to discover and I’m happy! 🌺

I’ve been tracking flights to Hawaii for the last 1-2 months and honestly… airline algorithms are a full-time psychological experiment at this point 🙈

Here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Around 10pm, flight pricing often shifts dramatically

2. Airlines ABSOLUTELY know when you’re searching for a large group and suddenly act like you’re trying to buy out the entire plane

3. Sometimes it’s smarter to wait for pricing to drop and then spend slightly more on comfort/economy flex options for things like cancellations, luggage, seat selection, etc.

4. Finding good flights requires patience, persistence, spreadsheets & caffeine

5. Air Canada’s algorithm deserves its own Netflix documentary honestly….

But THIS is one of the reasons people use travel agents.

A lot of the time we can monitor pricing, book hotel/flight packages, add on tickets for entertainment, and find better overall value.

Because trust me… travel pricing has become a wild game lately. 😂

Disney at Halloween might be my favourite time to go 🎃

My first trip to Orlando just happened to line up with Halloween season, and I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. The weather is still SO nice (not that unbearable summer heat), and the parks are decorated in the cutest Halloween way…like all the Mickey pumpkins everywhere 😍

It also doesn’t feel as chaotic as Christmas season, which I really appreciated.

And Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a fun add-on 👻 it runs select nights from August 7 – October 31, and it’s just a totally different vibe. Shorter lines, special shows, trick-or-treating, all of it.

Also… I can help with park tickets too 🎟️ just saying 😌

Couldn’t quite get the photo to accurately represent me, BUT you get the picture I’m sure 😆

Vegas is cheaper than your grocery bill right now…and I wish I was kidding 😅

There are packages as low as $399 for flight + hotel. AND something interesting is happening….select hotels are leaning into the “all-inclusive” packages right now. Bundling food, drinks, and perks in ways they never used to!

I’ve been to Vegas three times now, and have a few favourite spots I’d recommend if it’s on your destination list 🎲 send me a message for all the DEETS!

Book the trip.
The staycation.
The all-inclusive.
The dream.

There will always be bills.
Your job will still be there.
Life will keep moving.

But the memories? Those matter.

So whether you book with me or not… just go. 🤍

It feels strange saying this, but....I started up as a travel agent over a year ago🤍

And then life happened.

I was coming back from maternity leave, adjusting to a new rythym at home, and diving into an industry that - if I'm being honest....has way more depth and training than I ever expected.

So while I've been quiet over here, I have been taking the time to learn, build and lay the foundation behind the scenes. I don't want to just "book trips", I want to really know what I'm recommending.

And honestly, there's been a lot of change in the travel industry over the past year. From rising fuel costs, to changes in carry-on rules, to shifting flight routes...it's not always as straightforward as it used to be.

The good news is, I have the tools and resources at my fingertips to help navigate all of that - so you don't have to.

Whether you're dreaming about your next getaway, looking for guidance, or just want to follow along for inspiration... I'm so glad you're here.

Now lets start some regular programming....🤙🌺

One place that I could travel anytime of year, is Hawaii. While their summers are hot, they still average temperatures in the 20’s all year round. If you head to Hawaii in the winter, the locals will joke that it’s time to break out the heated blanket - but us Canadians will appreciate the warmth of a 20 degree day.

We love it so much, we eloped in 2023. If you are looking for a trip to Hawaii this winter, or some guidance how getting married in Hawaii works - shoot me a message and I can help get you started!

🇨🇦 Happy Canada Day!
Canada is an incredible country — full of beauty, diversity, and strength. But like all places, we still have healing to do.

Today I celebrate how far we’ve come, while holding space for the truths we’re still facing. My hope is that the year ahead brings continued growth, understanding, and unity.
