so many almost the same pictures, but CAN YOU SEE HAPPINESS? 😍

We were SO waiting for this flight! ✈️

🧳 another checked baggage joined the trip so this might not be backpacking anymore 🎒😁😂

🛫 aand so flight number 10 is done. It was a pleasant trip, when you know what are you paying for 🤩🤓

👨‍✈️ we chose Qatar Airways and the service was just perfect, only bad thing that pops in mind is that huuuge amount of perfume after another Asian passenger went out of the toilet and I chose to use different one as it would be amm hard to breath there 😅😂

🏋️‍♀️our backpacked got weighed but as we had checked baggage we put most of the stuff in there so finally - our bags were SO LIGHT! ✨

🛄 check in was easy and they scanned us in the line to fill something in the system already. Gave our baggage without any problem (even had some 5 more kg left 😄😁), and went through all the security and went to eat some bit in the terminal 🥣🥢

woops! another thing happened. we took a taxi to get from Hanoi to airport and when taking stuff out of the gate one bag still stayed there. So we go to check in, stand in the line and when there is our time - we go to the counter and then - dzindzin I remember - I have lost that bag. it was a last minute city shopping bag, and I spent a bit on it so off we go away from the counter and out to search for our taxi. it’s been around 30 min since we came to airport so not big hopes up but still trying. I’m trying to reach grab app as driver’s phone number is wrong in the app and when I kind of start to give up - I go back inside the airport and there is our taxi driver coming to us with that bag! so happy! ☺️☺️😊

🇻🇳👮🚔 when waiting for a take off there were a red carpet and lots of policemen around and some important people kissing cheeks before walking towards our plane, I guess might have had a ride with some president 😏😀🤣

🕰️ it was 6,5 h flight and we got two meals, some naps and beautiful views when crossing from the East to the West 🥰

p.s. did we almost missed this flight? will tell in the next post 😅😂

BYE, VIETNAM 🇻🇳

it’s hard to say our overall conclusions about this country, but here are some:

💰💵💲people say it’s cheap. it relatively is. BUT - it’s if you want/like to bargain ALL.THE.TIME. you will always be a tourist and the first 2/3 prices you will get offered will be way too overpriced. However - yes it’s still cheaper than Europe or Pacific Islands or New Zealand. For us daily expenses here were closed to the ones in Bali.

🏡 accommodation - prices varies from supercheap to expensive so it’s possible to find any budget place to stay. be aware that in pictures things looks way more better 😀😀😀. and I mean - waaaay mooore.

🧽🧹 cleanliness and hygiene for us is under acceptable but I guess you just need to know the situation and be ready for that 😅🧼

🍱🍣 somehow I though that in Vietnam will be lots of sushi too, but well there isn’t. That’s my fault and expectations and lack of knowledge 😄

🎙️✋ communication - locals don’t really speak in English but they are open and welcoming, so we often used Google translate and showed/played text to them. It was all right!

🍃⛰️NATURE - yes! It’s totally worth it! It’s so much more left to explore for us still 🌾🌳

thanks Vietnam, I’m sure to see you again one day. I feel like having a trip here with my parents or maybe whole family. but in different time of the year and probably will skip cities and will go to the nature straight away 🎒👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
