✨Berlin’s mysterious lost place✨

🏛️Hidden in the heart of Berlin, with a stunning view of the Fernsehturm, lie the haunting ruins of the Franziskaner Monastery Church — one of Berlin’s oldest surviving structures and one of the city’s most fascinating lost places
Founded in the 13th century by Franciscan monks, the church played an important role in medieval Berlin and became one of the region’s earliest examples of Brick Gothic architecture.⛪

⚔️After standing for centuries, it was heavily damaged during the final months of World War II in April 1945. Unlike many historic landmarks in Berlin, it was never rebuilt.

✨Today, the ruins remain a powerful reminder of Berlin’s medieval origins and wartime history. Preserved as a monument, the site now hosts exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events—where 750 years of history meet modern Berlin.
