Only three more days until this iconic bird retires. For a long time, the A340-600 was the longest passenger aircraft in the world. I connect a lot of amazing memories with it, especially thanks to my buddy Raphael Gabel who took me along a couple of times. In fact, this photo series documents his very first A340-600 landing, shot out of a helicopter in New York John F. Kennedy. Rest well!
