What fascinates me most about shipping is that it quietly keeps global trade running-and that decisions made on shore have real impact on people, vessels, and the environment. At TGM, I value that my work has meaning: we solve real problems, combine economic thinking with responsibility, and bring structure to a highly complex industry. That's exactly what motivates me every day.
In my free time, I love spending time with my little son. These moments ground me, make me laugh, and remind me what truly matters. They help me switch off, recharge, and clear my mind.
My perfect balance to work is intentionally taking time just for myself - moments without schedules, to breathe, reflect, and find my inner calm again.
If I were captain for a day, I would know it's not a light journey. It means responsibility, distance from family and friends, and full accountability for both crew and vessel. It's not a decision made lightly — it's a mindset. My goal wouldn't be speed, but safety: bringing ship and crew to their destination with care, foresight, and reliability, even in challenging conditions.
At the top of my bucket list is a Caribbean port - warmth, space, calm, and that special sense of ease where time seems to slow down and a different rhythm takes over.
What I'm especially proud of in my work is staying true to my values: taking responsibility even when it's uncomfortable, and making decisions that are fair, transparent, and grounded in integrity.
My mantra: You can't change the wind, but you can adjust the sails.
