Cultro TC used for maize stubble cultivation

The operating principle of the Cultro for optimal crushing:

👉 Two rotors with counter-rotating knives for a helical work pattern
👉 High rotational speeds of the compact rollers

The Cultro frays the stubble and breaks it up. This can minimize the overwintering chances of corn borer larvae and make overwintering more difficult for Fusarium fungi.

HORSCH Focus: Encouraging Rapeseed Roots to Grow Deeper🌱

How can you make rapeseed more drought-resistant while also increasing fertilizer efficiency? 🧐
The Gut Schwichtenberg farm in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania relies on the HORSCH Focus system which combines deep loosening and deep fertilization with the Maestro and a seed bar.

✅ Deep loosening down to 30 cm; fertilizer is placed at a depth of 20 to 25 cm in a targeted way
✅ The roots grow into deeper soil layers in a targeted way where they can access water and nutrients
✅ Greater resilience to dry spells in spring and summer
✅ More efficient nutrient utilization due to targeted slow-release fertilization
✅ Less erosion due to strip cultivation without a plow or deep tillage

Farm manager Lorenz Schulte-Heinemann’s summary: Although the rapeseed develops somewhat more slowly in fall, it persists significantly longer during dry early summers. At the same time, yields remain stable, and the fertilizer is applied precisely where the plant needs it.

Fortis LT Flexibel, präzise und universell 🛠️

Letztes Jahr haben wir Euch den Fortis LT als neue Baureihe in unserem umfassenden Portfolio vorgestellt. ➡️ Er ist unter dem Fortis AS angesiedelt.
⚙️ Wesentliches Unterscheidungsmerkmal ist die um bis zu 1 m kürzere Bauweise sowie die Konstruktion des Rahmens. Identisch sind hingegen der Strichabstand von 27 cm und die Rahmenhöhe von 85 cm.

Tiger SL 🆚 Terrano FX - What’s the difference? 🤔

Many of you have seen the quiz post about the Tiger SL, the new 3-point Tiger. 😎
But what are the differences compared to the Terrano FX???

🧐To answer that, let’s take a closer look at the two machines:

📌The Tiger SL has a narrower tine spacing of 23 cm. Its 4-bar tine design within a 2-bar frame makes it compact and ensures that the center of gravity is close to the tractor.
📌When working at depths of up to 35 cm and due to the narrow tine spacing, the machine requires up to 100 hp per meter working width.
➡️This makes the Tiger SL ideal for deep primary soil cultivation and the intensive incorporation of harvest residues. However, due to the well-proven TerraGrip system, it remains flexible to be used in other areas as well.

📌In comparison, the Terrano FX is a universal cultivator with a tine spacing of 30 cm and a 3-bar frame design. With its ten tines, it can be used with a horsepower requirement of just 140 hp. Whether for shallow stubble cultivation or deeper loosening up to 30 cm, the Terrano FX is a true all-rounder for a wide variety of soil conditions and requirements.

The difference between the Tiger SL and Terrano FX is easily recognizable from the outside by the arrangement of the spring kits and the number of bars.
