It's been almost seven months since we returned from our 13 months of travelling through Europe by bike.
It took us a few months to get used to our life at home again ... So many people around us every day in our jobs as a teacher and pharmacist, so little time together as a couple and on our bikes, being inside so much, ... Of course, we do miss being on the road. And this won't be our last bike tour, for sure.
In January and just now in March we did a few talks in Munich and in our home area near Würzburg, to share our travel experience with others. It was a very intense process for us - reliving everything and, thus, also reflecting upon everything, deciding what could be interesting for others to hear and see, how to structure such a presentation.
We are very grateful to Christina's school and the library Bücherei im Bahnhof Veitshöchheim for showing interest and making these presentations possible! Thank you!!
We had great fun presenting, were amazed by people's interest and support and are very happy about this experience.
In Veitshöchheim we were even honoured by UNICEF for our efforts and the 10,590.02€ we collected for our Unicef project during our year of travelling. Thank you!!
