Crafted from gold using advanced ancient techniques of hammering, shaping, and precise assembly, the mask was made from several sections joined with remarkable skill, leaving the connections almost invisible.

One of its most astonishing features is the extraordinary symmetry of the face — the eyes, eyebrows, nose, and lips are remarkably balanced from one side to the other, an incredible achievement accomplished more than 3,000 years ago.

The mask is beautifully decorated with lapis lazuli and colored stones, while the cobra and vulture on the forehead represent royal power and protection.
