✈️ The July update is here — and it's a big one!

Meet byAir ID 🪪
Your flight history just got its own interactive travel card. Flip it to explore your best travel years and calendar, switch between periods and themes, and share either side as a card or Story. It's a fun new way to look back at everywhere you've been — trust us, watching your map fill up with routes is oddly satisfying.

Bigger screens, better experience (Android) 📱
Tablets and unfolded foldables now get a proper layout — a full-screen map paired with a side panel, instead of just a stretched phone view. Plus, a cleaner look across the app with Google Sans typography.

Find My Plane, rebuilt from the ground up 🔍
We heard you on this one. Find My Plane now runs on multiple data sources — the same approach we use for flight tracking — giving you more complete, accurate inbound aircraft chains. That means it now works for about 40% more flights than before. More improvements are on the way!

Smarter Flight Maps 🗺️
Routes and airports now render more accurately, especially for long-haul trips, and your maps frame each journey better at a glance. Your Profile map is smarter too — it automatically picks the most useful view of the globe based on your actual travel history.

Flight Stats, refreshed 📊
A cleaner look for your Profile and Flight Stats, complete with new round country flags — consistent across byAir ID and the stats widget.

That "Did you land?" text from mom? She won't need to send it anymore.

Our Share with Family feature just got a major upgrade:

✅ Add your contacts to any flight
✅ They get automatic updates via WhatsApp or Telegram
✅ Notifications when you depart AND when you land
✅ No app download required on their end — just the chat app they already use

Less worry for them. Fewer texts for you. That's a win-win.

We’ve just shipped a new byAir update focused on one thing: giving travelers more control.

The biggest addition is AI Integration.

byAir can now connect to tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and OpenClaw through a personal MCP link. If you already use AI to plan, check, or manage trips, byAir can now fit directly into that workflow instead of living in a separate tab.

We also shipped a few updates that make the product feel much more personal day to day:

• preferred currency, so airport, transport, baggage, and other prices make sense instantly
• flight renaming and email-purpose sorting, so trips stay organized with less manual cleanup
• smarter calendar sync, so exported flights only go where you want them to go
• better Android widgets and a round of stability fixes across startup, paywall, widgets, and Wear OS sync
