Turó Park, located in the upscale Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, is a beautiful urban oasis that blends nature, history, and art. Originally the site of a private estate and later an amusement park, it was transformed into a public garden in 1934 by landscape architect Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí. The park is known for its lush greenery, with century-old trees, palms, magnolias, and ivy-covered beds, as well as a serene central pond filled with water lilies. Scattered throughout are elegant sculptures and monuments dedicated to figures like Pau Casals and Francesc Viñas, giving the park a cultural charm. Compact yet elegant, Turó Park offers a peaceful retreat from the city’s bustle, with botanical and poetic walking routes that invite visitors to relax and reflect in a calm, artistic setting.
