A few days later… and we’re still thinking about it! 👇
the Vuelta Ciclista Canaria – Tenerife Junior.
It was so much more than just a race…
it was a sneak peek into the future of Canarian (and beyond) cycling.
On May 2nd and 3rd, in Tenerife, 20 junior teams lined up at the start of this 2-stage race.
Free Motion Bikecenter was there, delivering:
🔧 Full mechanical assistance
🚗 Race support on the road
🛠 Everything riders needed to chase

And more. But what mattered most wasn’t what we did, it was what we saw:

💥 Young riders competing at an incredibly high level
🌍 National and international teams racing on Tenerife’s roads
⛰️ Demanding stages showcasing the very best (and toughest) of the island
These kinds of races matter.
This is where the future names of cycling begin.

🚧 Valley of the Tears… closed. 😔
👉 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀?
If the road gets the attention it deserves, we might come back to smoother tarmac on one of the toughest, most beautiful climbs out there. That’s a win for every rider who’s ever battled those brutal gradients.
👉 𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.
An epic climb ... silent. No double digit gradients, no switchbacks, no stories being written this summer on those slopes.

𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲… 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹… 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝘀. Because this is the north of Gran Canaria.
MOYA started as a dream: to show cyclists more the island's epic north.
This was its first season and what a ride it’s been.
We could talk about distance, meters of climbing or power stats.
Instead, we’ll let the photos speak.
Riders from 20+ countries joined us, guided by Bart, Alex and Marko, often in their own native language, as together, our guides speak an impressive number of them.
Friendships were formed.
Memories were made.
And in the end, the numbers mattered less than the experience.
