Behind Arrival Yachts is a close-knit team with deep experience across brokerage, yacht operations, sailing, management and client services.

Based in Puerto Portals, the team combines international backgrounds with real-world maritime experience and a shared passion for the industry.

Nigel Wales; Founder and Managing Director, Nigel brings decades of international yacht brokerage experience alongside a background in Naval Architecture. His technical understanding, industry knowledge and long-standing relationships form the backbone of Arrival Yachts.

Marta Stefaniak: With more than eight years at Arrival Yachts, Marta plays a key role in yacht sales and client services. Her international outlook, organisational expertise and calm professionalism help keep every detail running smoothly behind the scenes.

INSOMNIA - SOLD !

We are delighted to announce the successful sale of INSOMNIA a Sunseeker 86, launched in 2020.

This transaction was completed with Jonathan Lafortune from Lafortune Yachts representing the Buyer and Nigel Wales and Joan Binimelis from Arrival Yachts representing the Seller.

Nigel Wales, Managing Director of Arrival Yachts, has recently returned from a Balearic Marine Cluster trade mission to the Netherlands, visiting some of the most important names in Dutch yacht building.

The trip brought together marine businesses from the Balearics with Dutch shipyards, suppliers and industry organisations helping to shape the future of superyachting.

For Arrival Yachts, it was an opportunity to go behind the scenes, meet the people behind these businesses, and understand how they approach design, construction, technology, sustainability, refit and long-term yacht operation.

Over the next few posts, Nigel will be sharing his impressions from visits to SYBAss, Feadship, Oceanco, Vitters, Balk Shipyard and Akerboom, each with its own particular strengths and philosophy.

For owners, captains, buyers and anyone interested in the future of superyachting, these visits offered a valuable insight into what the Dutch yards are doing differently.

One of the organisations playing an important role behind the scenes is SYBAss, the Superyacht Builders Association. Their work extends far beyond shipbuilding itself, helping shape regulation, professional standards, innovation and the future operational realities of the modern superyacht industry.

We are looking forward to sharing more from the visit over the coming weeks and taking you behind the scenes of an significant part of the industry that continues to influence the global market.

With an honours degree in Naval Architecture and over 20 years as a yacht broker, Nigel brings a rare combination of technical knowledge and commercial expertise to every project.
