What do hand-stitched leather door handles and luxurious headboards have in common?

They all pass through the skilled hands of Liselott “Lotti”, our leather expert! With 20 years of experience, Lotti is a master of her craft, she creates modern designs and intricate decorative stitching to yachts around the world.

"I love working with leather because it’s so versatile—it allows for endless possibilities and challenges me to think outside the box."

One of her most unforgettable projects? A 111 ft super yacht where she crafted bold orange leather-strapped cushions over carbon fiber frames.

"It was a project that demanded both technical expertise and artistic vision."

Whether she’s working on small custom details or full-scale interior pieces, Lotti's craftsmanship is what makes our leatherwork truly stand out. Every stitch, every detail, every texture—made to last, made to impress.

Peter is our problem solver when it comes to foam work, upholstery, and assembly! 🛠️

With over three years at Fixafell and nearly a decade at Baltic Yachts before that, Peter Wiklund brings a wealth of experience to our team. Though he was already skilled in marine craftsmanship, joining Fixafell meant learning entirely new materials—like working with foam.

“I started here thanks to a friend who recommended the job, and there was a lot to learn at first. But that’s what makes it exciting."

Today, he upholsters sofas, chairs, and mattresses, works on wooden structures, and assembles spray hoods, biminis, and covers on-site at Nautor, Baltic, and Botnia Marin.

One of his most memorable projects? The sofas for the Baltic Yachts Raven model.

“That was a real challenge. The seats and backrests had carbon fiber plates, leather straps, and other unique details. At the same time, we had to keep the design lightweight. But we love a good challenge.”

And the best part of his job? “Without a doubt, my colleagues. We have a fantastic team here.” 💙

Versatile, skilled, and always up for a challenge – that’s Juliette! ⛵

Juliette Björklund's focus is mainly on larger projects like sprayhoods and boat covers. But her expertise doesn’t stop there—she’s always ready to lend a hand wherever needed.

“I'm trained in garment sewing, so when I saw this opportunity, I knew I had to take it. I have been here for over five years, and I really enjoy it."

The variety of the work is what she likes the most. “There are always new and exciting orders coming in, which keeps things interesting. You have to be flexible, and I love that.”

One of her most memorable projects? Sewing a sprayhood for a Baltic 110—a completely new boat model at the time. A big project, a big challenge, and an exciting experience!

“No two days are the same here—there’s always something different to work on, and that’s what makes it so much fun!”

Meet Ninni: our talented seamstress and phenomenal "fun manager" 🧵✨

Since 2017, Nina-Marie "Ninni" Vigård has been crafting high-quality cushions, sofas, and leather details for yachts, ensuring every stitch meets our high standards. As a true perfectionist, she thrives on unique, one-of-a-kind projects.

"The best part of my job? Creating custom pieces. I love working on unique projects that challenge my skills."

But Ninni isn't just about sewing—she also makes sure our team has fun! As our official "fun manager," she organizes activities and plans our team events.

"I like coming up with ideas for our team days and making sure we have a great time together."
