BUY ROBBIE A GLASS OF WINE in Southern France Winning the Fight against ALS. ($5 suggested donation). Rob Callahan was diagnosed with ALS in November of 2013 at age 51 and is still holding his own.

At the posting of this page he is truck'n through Europe, a trip made possible with the help and support of friends and family. It started in Dublin with his sister and cousins, then onto London to visit his daughter in college. I flew out to London and met up with him in early October and then we were off to Amsterdam where my cousin's friend put us up for 10 days, then Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Flo

rence and up the Italian Riviera by train. Next is Southern France. Our travels keep taking him to places and things he never thought he would see and very soon he'll return home having made the trip of a lifetime. As I share this incredibly romantic and exciting experience with him I'm also trying to make sure it's the best it can be for him. Sharing pictures and conversing on Facebook with all of you these past few weeks has made him feel connected to everyone as we go, like you're all here with him too. This last part of the trip is where we can all help keep his spirits up, buy him a drink or a meal and not think about what comes next - only more of the amazing and beautiful things happening now. Today we leave France bound back to London. THANK YOU so much for following the France leg of the trip and contributing both inspiration and funds to make the trip extra special. We've done this all with your help and it is sooo much appreciated....
Health-wise, the question is more, How are things working?" vs How do you feel? ... Mainly because i feel great due to the mega healthy supplements Im taking and spirited activities...
Disfunction is occurring more regularly now in my right hand... So imagine... Buttons zippers pens laces coffee cups forks ... Chop sticks are definitely done ! Shaving peeing ..., all now to be converted to left hand and one hand ... Brushing hair and teeth ... Try it opposite handed ... Fun ... Noticeably, eating and dressing taking longer ...
Legs are still strong and very grateful for that... This trip was about legs and being able to... Get to the sights of wonder, history and culture ... I also could not imagine a person better suited to doing this all with me and helping me through the tougher spots...and enjoying the magic ...
