It was this which prompted Nucleus PDS to spend time looking at the cause and effect of why certain businesses failed and others flourished, The findings were grouped as follows:-
Design and Manufacturing. The concept is great, but the design does not compliment the manufacturing processes. The product does not perform as it should under tested conditions. Not putting in place a cost effective and reliable Supply Chain. This is probably the most common cause of profit loss and, not coincidently, the area that many failed companies treated as an afterthought. Getting your brand new product, in good condition, on a cargo ship (not a plane) across the globe, through customs and to your customer’s door in a timely and cost effective manner is a massive responsibility.
