31327 had to step up to the Royal Scotsman this evening, so assuming 27050 passes some post maintenance checks in the morning it will be out assisting 46512 on the service trains.

Reminder that with rain forecast for Saturday it is expected to be back to steam only operation after tomorrow. DM 29/04/26

37674 ready for another day assisting 46512 on the service train before also working the Royal Scotsman to Boat of Garten this evening. Tomorrow Thursday 30th April 31327 will be assisting 46512 on the service train.

It is currently planned to revert to steam only from Saturday given rain is forecast. DM 29/04/26.

With the dry spell continuing and lineside fire risk still high it is planned to extend diesel assist until Thursday 30th April. It is expected to use 31327 Monday and Tuesday, 37674 Wednesday, then probably back to 31327 on Thursday. Usual caveats apply. DM 26/04/26

Was great to see a number of people making the trip to photograph and travel on 37674 today despite the short notice information, here she is at Broomhill on the last trip. Remember tomorrow Thursday 23rd April is booked to be 31327 assisting Ivatt 46512.

It is also now expected that diesel assist will continue on Saturday and Sunday, however loco allocations unknown at this point. DM 22/04/26

Update - it is expected to use 31327 this Saturday and Sunday. DM 23/04/26.
