I absolutely love this video of Tony. She my absolute bloody favourite being in the whole world.

She makes she laugh and her loves me unconditionally.

I'm grateful for her presence everyday.

When I am on long multiple day cruises like this one that lasted 11 days... I have to keep myself occupied.

I had a crew mate on this job so I got to film too which always makes it more fun.

The Thames never bores me really, there is always something to look at. But standing for days at a time at the tiller can get monotonous so I do make up games to keep me occupied.

I do have a spin off off of this games called -

Is it a hotel or a luxury care home ๐Ÿ˜‚

Enjoy and let me know if any possible house or hotel hot spots.

Had a great little mooch around the charity shops in Trowbridge. One of my fave things to do.

They are fairly empty at the moment,.I think the heatwaves means noone has been sorting through their stuff.

The temps have dropped and I suddenly feel like doing things again. Maybe I will move back to Ireland just because it took hot over here. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyways... Enjoy

I will never be that wicker basket carrying forager...

I do have a wicker basket but I never bring it out. I am just not that organised.

Got some blackberries and elderberries yesterday and will make some cordial today.

I got bored of our walk so decided to take a little short cut to the river and once I had committed I wasn't turning back.

It just got worse and worse with huge nettles and brambles and only the hint of the path that is so clear in winter.

Tony wasn't bothered at all of course, but the brambles were huge, and yea I know it's Bramley apples. But, in the moment, I was confused.

I did make it in the end and I met a very bemused fisherman as I exited the nettles.

Just a casual hour waiting for the spikey ball to float towards us at the end of a hot day of cruising in London.

Pint cans of Fosters and a good laugh... Couldn't ask for more really.

I moved onto a boat for a few reasons, but one of the big ones was wanting to have a home that couldn't be taken away from me.

A place to hang my art and make my own.

I love it so much, and although I wish I had more time and money to do all the jobs. I am pretty sure that would be the same in a house.

That feeling when you've been cruising the Thames for a few days and you're used to the space and how majestic it is.

You come off at Limehouse or Brentford and suddenly everything seems so small and dirty. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Still love it though

People keep saying to me, oh you boat looks so nice on the internet.

Of course it does. I only take photos of the good bits and when in have tided. The reality is very different. I am constantly wanting better storage and a new brain.

One that is capable of keeping the place clean.
