My first ever ride on Aviktas at Blackpool Pleasure Beach was absolutely insane!!!

The new Intamin Gyro Swing at Blackpool Pleasure Beach stands 138ft tall, swings up to 120°, hits speeds of around 60mph and pulls up to 4G… all while the 40-seat gondola is spinning. 😭

I genuinely thought this was overrated but I was wrong and I absolutely LOVED it. That feeling at the top with your legs dangling is WILD.

We celebrated my 40th birthday with 5 nights in Germany, including Phantasialand and a stay at the incredible Hotel Charles Lindbergh.

Our first ever visit to Phantasialand is now live on YouTube!

After years of wanting to visit, we finally made it to one of Europe’s most talked about theme parks. We stayed at Hotel Charles Lindbergh, experienced the incredible theming of Rookburgh, and rode Taron, Black Mamba, Colorado Adventure, Chiapas, F.L.Y. and more… all in 33°C heat on a very busy day!

🇩🇪 Staying at Hotel Charles Lindbergh? Save this post before your trip!

After my first ever stay at Charles Lindbergh, there were a few things I wish I’d known before arriving…

✨ Check in at reception first to collect your park tickets, F.L.Y. Quick Passes and book your dinner and breakfast.

⏰ The park opens at 9am, but the rides don’t open until 10am, giving you an hour to explore and take photos.

📸 Hotel guests get exclusive access to Rookburgh from 8am–12pm, making it the perfect time to enjoy the incredible theming without the crowds.

⚡ Want extra Quick Passes? Head to Guest Relations in Berlin once you’re in the park.

🍳 And finally… don’t skip breakfast. Trust me, it’s worth getting up for!

🎢 My first EVER day at Phantasialand… and it didn’t disappoint. 🇩🇪❤️

After years of seeing photos and videos of this park, I finally got to experience it for myself.

We started the day on Taron, took on Black Mamba, cooled off on Chiapas, rode Colorado Adventure and finished with an evening ride on F.L.Y. using one of our Fast Passes from Hotel Charles Lindbergh.

With temperatures reaching 34°C, we decided not to rush from ride to ride. Instead, we slowed down, found plenty of shade, stopped for drinks and snacks, and really appreciated what makes Phantasialand so special.

The theming, the atmosphere and the attention to detail completely exceeded my expectations. It honestly feels like you’re stepping into a different world.

This is only Day 1… and I already can’t wait to share the rest of the trip with you! ✨
