CarFest 2026 was definitely not a perfect weekend… 😂

Day 1 was chaotic. Day 2 involved torrential rain, three hours hiding in a tent and some questionable festival chips. By Day 3, we'd finally figured out how to "festival" — and ended up having an absolutely brilliant time.

For us, it became much more than a festival. our 7-year-old got to change a racing-car tyre, play with technical LEGO, discover drifting, climb all over cars and motorbikes, meet characters, listen to live music and generally immerse himself in a world full of things to explore.

And as a family, we learnt to adapt, solve problems, follow our interests and — importantly — slow down enough to actually enjoy it.

So despite everything that went wrong… would we go back in 2027?
