It’s a combination Amelia knows well because she’s back with Ski Beat for another winter!
As one of our returning team members, Amelia already knows what makes a Ski Beat chalet tick: good food, good company and creating a relaxed place where our guests can put their feet up after a brilliant day on the slopes.

She’ll be looking after guests in Val Thorens this season and when she gets some mountain time of her own, there’s nothing she loves more than fresh powder on a clear day.

Tucked away in Plan Peisey, this cosy chalet has everything you need to feel right at home in the mountains. Think evenings by the log fire, delicious home-cooked meals, your own sauna and spectacular sunsets over Mont Blanc.

Originally from Graskop in South Africa, Lucy already knows her way around an Alpine winter after spending the 2023/24 season in Tignes. This time you’ll find her in La Rosière, helping look after our Ski Beat guests and making the chalet a cosy place to return to after a day on the mountain.

And because every good chalet conversation needs an unexpected fact, here’s Lucy’s: she has two extra ribs.. We’ll leave you to ask her about that one over dinner… 😂

Meet Emma, who’ll be looking after our guests in La Rosière this winter. This isn’t her first taste of ski-season life either - Emma previously spent a season in Durango, Colorado, where she spent time as a ski instructor for 4–6 year olds.
Her perfect mountain day is simple: bluebird skies and good friends.
Emma loves the warm, welcoming atmosphere of chalet life and is looking forward to sharing that with our La Rosière guests this winter.

South Africa’s loss is definitely the Alps’ gain! 🏔️

This is the unbelievable view from our very own Chalet Perdrix, often quoted as being the best view in the whole resort. Once you see it for yourself its very easy to see why.

Set in Les Eucherts, the Perdrix building is home to three of our catered chalets, each sleeping between 10 and 15 guests. So whether you’re travelling as a couple, a family, a group of friends – or there are enough of you to fill more than one chalet – there’s plenty of flexibility.
