Just finished filming in the of for an epic film about . Great to come full circle to return to a country I visited 23 years ago, when I was 19 and gave me a taste of and interest in travel. 100 countries later, I am fortunate to have a profession to travel the world, witness fascinating cultures and meet wonderful people. I wonder what the next 23 years will hold!

Like many who have been to , it is hard not to be compelled to write something to show solidarity, support, anger or opinion. I have been to this beautiful and incredibe country five times and always been amazed by the tenacity and resilience shown, often in the most brutal and toughest of environments.

These images were taken from my last trip to the corridor of young girls filled with and cheer, and at the heart of what everything is happening right now it is this young generation, especially girls, that will suffer the most. There will be further sad days to come, and let's hope that these girls and all others across the country will be spared the wrath of that we saw in the 90s.
