Friendly D1 / D Driver Needed (SEN School Runs) – Bristol

Term-time only | Morning & afternoon routes | £375 per week | Your own allocated vehicle

Looking for a rewarding, steady role that fits around your lifestyle?
We’re recruiting D1 or D licence holders (with Driver CPC) to help children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) get safely to and from school across Bristol.

This role would suit someone who is semi-retired, enjoys driving, and wants to do something that genuinely makes a difference — without the pressures of long-distance or late-night work.

What the job involves

Driving morning and afternoon school routes (term-time only)

Working in partnership with a Guided Es**rt to provide a calm, safe and supportive journey

Helping families feel reassured with a reliable and friendly service

Where you’ll be based

Main operating centre: near Avonmeads Retail Park

Outstations: Mangotsfield and Parson Street

What we offer

£375 per week

Your own allocated vehicle

Route consistency where possible (we aim to keep you on the same route each week)

DBS and training provided if needed

What we’re looking for

D1 or D licence plus Driver CPC

Patient, calm and dependable approach

A good understanding of, and compassion for, people with disabilities and additional needs

Confident working as part of a team with the Guided Es**rt

DBS

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service would be a big advantage, but if you don’t have one, we can arrange DBS checks and support you with the required training.
