It's no coincidence that the colour red is associated with delivery firms.. Postmen and Postwomen started wearing the colour red back in 1784 when the first mail post guards were dressed in scarlet coats.

The first pillar box, which were also traditionally painted red, was installed in 1852 on Jersey.

& finally, the colour red is also super practical, keeping staff safe by making them more visible on their delivery routes ❤️

We are a growing and busy online company located in BS7, Bristol. We are looking to recruit bright and enthusiastic candidates to join our friendly team.

The position is permanent basis, with offices located at home and with occasional work in our offices near Gloucester Road

We are looking for someone with a very good eye for detail, a mature attitude towards work, a confident telephone manner, good administration and communication skills.

You must be a self-motivated person, have good attention to detail, enjoy working in a small and busy office environment and take pride in your work.

Key activities include: (training provided)

Dealing with customer sales and product enquiries.
Order taking and order chasing queries.
Taking customer orders over the telephone.
Ad-hoc internal administration where needed.

Proficient in Ms Word, Excel, MS Outlook (or other email client), Internet Browsing.

Food for thought: Since the Coronavirus pandemic, the food delivery market has seen a global rise in demand.

E-grocery businesses and restaurants experienced an unprecedented spike in deliveries with the start of the coronavirus pandemic early last year, with many start ups adapting to the new normal of getting food to consumers stuck at home.

As the economy reopens, however, some are beginning to ask if all the investment in food delivery fulfillment has created a bubble just waiting to burst?

Venture capital firms were investing tens and hundreds of millions into delivery startups as recently as late April, according to a CNBC report.
