☀️ WHAT A SUMMER IT’S BEEN FOR RM PRIVATE TRANSFERS SO FAR 🚗✈️🛳️🏖️

The summer holidays have certainly kept us busy, with our customers’ private transfers taking us all over the country, countless airport runs, plenty of cruise terminal visits and trips to some of the UK’s favourite seaside towns.

Yesterday took us down to Brighton with one of our regular travellers, who we have the pleasure of taking several times throughout the year to visit family.

With a Heathrow Airport transfer coming back early today, it made sense to stay overnight rather than head all the way home and it also gave me the perfect opportunity to get the drone up and capture Brighton from above, by day and by night. 📸🚁🌙

Meanwhile, there’s certainly no slowing down at RM, we’ve got more UK staycations in the diary, alongside an incredible amount of bookings flying in for the remainder of 2026 and well into 2027. 📅

Yesterday we had the pleasure of delivering our customers to somewhere we've never been before, the lovely seaside town of Sheringham, Norfolk.

We'll be heading back next week to collect them and bring them safely home.

The weather was much different from back home! It was a rather dull, cloudy 19°C in Sheringham, while Bromsgrove was enjoying a glorious 30°C with blazing sunshine. 🌥️➡️☀️

✈️ Want to see what happens when flights are delayed or diverted?

Yesterday, BA284 from San Francisco was diverted to Birmingham while en route to Heathrow.

While many people would be wondering what was happening next, we were already tracking the flight, checking every update, and keeping our passenger fully informed and reassured.

Once the aircraft continued on to Heathrow, we were there in the terminal, ready to meet and greet them before taking them safely home 🤝

This was the customer's very first trip with us, and they even commented that they didn't expect anyone to still be there waiting to collect them after everything that had happened.

Let's be honest, who else would love to see this weather right now? ❄️😂

After the last few days of scorching temperatures, I think most of us would happily swap the sunshine for a bit of snow, I know I would! 🥵➡️❄️

Thankfully, all of our RM Private Transfers vehicles have fully functioning air conditioning, so every customer travelling with us has been able to sit back and enjoy cool, comfortable journeys while the sun does its worst. 🚖❄️

Father’s Day always takes me back to 1995, the year my Dad passed away at the age of 53 suddenly, If he were still here, I’d be taking him out and spoiling him. If you still have your dad, or both parents don’t let anything go unsaid. Life’s too short for fallouts. They make us and shape us, we only get one chance. To everyone missing their dad today, I’m with you. Keep smiling

North Bromsgrove High School throwback!

Who remembers Mrs Hart from Cookery?
After not seeing her for over 30 years, she recently used RM Private Transfers and today I had the pleasure of bringing her home.

I used to be one of her pupils and now I'm her driver!

She taught me how to make the best mushroom 🍄 soup, I've forgotten how to do that, so she's sending me the recipe 🤣
