With Darcica’s team getting bigger and bigger at our DRG2 station we needed to add to our already fantastic leadership team.

Yesterday we stepped up, Iulian, Joseph and Nathan into the Lead Driver positions after each one of them have continuously gone above and beyond to ensure the job we do is done in the right way every time.

Luigi was carrying out his weekly briefing with his drivers at our DRG2 station this morning.

Working with our drivers to give them the tools and the knowledge to be able to deliver every parcel in the correct way is something Darcica is very passionate about.

An exciting position has become available for a full-time On-Site Manager based in our Reading (Theale) site.

Role Requirements:

Excellent time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Strong leadership qualities to lead a team.
To be able to motivate your team to ensure the business succeeds.
Excellent customer service skills.
Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other statistical analysis software.
The ability to motivate themselves and others.
A solid understanding of the logistical Industry.
To be able to hit targets provided by the company.

Role Responsibilities:

Recruitment of new drivers.
Booking in new drivers for Drug & Alcohol Tests.
On-Boarding new recruits.
Carrying out Weekly Performance Reviews.
Weekly scheduling of drivers.
Completing Day sheets.
Ensuring Maintenance is carried out on the fleet.
Ensuring servicing of the fleet is carried out on time.
Completing weekly & Monthly audits.
Managing KPI’s.
Building relationships with our client, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.

Yesterday Darcica launched in the station. I am so proud of my Management team on how their professionalism, determination and leadership skills shone through on a very busy and a very hot day 🌞

Darcica Logistics were chosen for a 2nd delivery station due to having these three attributes and I feel blessed to have a team that tick each one of these boxes ✅

Next step, 3rd station………..Bring it on 💪🚐💪🚐

So today we go back to where it all began nearly 3 years ago with 5 routes going out at Amazon as a DSP, only this time we are launching at our second station…

Today was induction day for the new drivers at the station. It was great to see the new team members all together after 5 weeks of hard work from the management team at Darcica. Tomorrow is launch day, and I can’t wait to see what this amazing team can achieve; the sky’s the limit 🚀
