WINTER LEAGUE 25/26
Good Afternoon
The majority of fixtures were collected on Thursday with a handful remaining. These have now also been emailed out.
We have had an overall increase in the number of teams entering, with an additional 2 in the ladies despite some teams not entering and likewise in the Men's, despite some teams again not re-entering we have had sufficient new teams to have to add an extra division.
Thank you to all those captains who have agreed to sign up to their Divisional WhatsApp Groups, in total 61 from 62 captains agreed to join which will massively help me in running the league and will allow the captains to discuss any issues such as postponements and rearranged games and will keep me informed.
You can also use the WhatsApp groups to send in photos of your result cards, hopefully directly after the games are played, this will save me having to chase teams for results, which if i'm honest takes far too long.
Can you please check that your venues have match standard boards, they should not be damaged and should have no bulging.
I would also like to remind you all that should you need to postpone a game you must give 24 hours notice (unless extenuating circumstances). It is unfair on our venues who are preparing food for the matches only for it to be cancelled. It is a courtesy that venues supply food and we should all remember it is not within the league rules that they do so.
For the Ladies Premier and Division 1 please note your draw number as they are not in sequence, if you could also point this out to your venues.
