Demo Time - Putting Two Flagships to the Test

This week we’ve got two impressive units with us - the Scania UK Super S460 and the Volvo Trucks Aero 500.

Both trucks are designed with efficiency, performance, and driver comfort in mind, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they perform in real-world operations across our work.

The plan is simple: put them through their paces and see how they compare when it comes to fuel economy, driveability, and overall performance on the road.

It will be interesting to see how the Scania Super’s proven powertrain stacks up against Volvo’s new Aero design and efficiency improvements.

We’ll be sharing updates and insights as the week goes on, so keep an eye out for how each truck performs.

Always great to test the latest kit and see what it can really do in day-to-day transport.

This is the smaller cab version of the XG & XF models, which is perfect for our day/night drivers. With a slightly lower cab giving the driver a better view from the cockpit. Perfect for the inner city deliveries. 🚚

We think it looks great, but we will see how it performs ✅

After having the DAF XF on demo last week we were certainly keen to try out the XG. We have got this demonstrator DAF XG next week to see how well it performs.

1st impressions wow! The amount of space inside this truck is impressive, they have certainly designed the cab around the driver.

Let’s see how well it performs as it’s first trip is to Eastbourne on Monday 🚚💨
