Youth Cafe returns to Cheltenham!

No Child Left Behind is bringing the Youth Cafe back to Smokey Joe's every Thursday from 3:30pm to 6pm, starting tomorrow (3 September).

Following a successful pilot earlier this year and a series of well-attended sessions, the Youth Cafe will once again provide a safe and welcoming space for young people to spend time with friends, try new activities and access support.

Young people can drop in and out throughout the sessions, enjoy Smokey Joe's vintage arcade games free of charge and take part in activities delivered by local organisations. Every young person who attends will also receive a free food and drink voucher.

Sessions will be supported by Springbank Community Group CiC and The Rock Cheltenham, with activities from organisations including The Music Works and Escape Rooms Cheltenham.

LOOK WHAT’S ARRIVED!

We were very lucky to be sent these gorgeous goodies from Angela Strawbridge at Escape to the Château for our upcoming raffle and I am SO excited about them.

Three lots of beautiful fabric, a signed book AND a programme. What a prize bundle!

And just a little spoiler… there may be a few more bits and bobs making their way to us from some other lovely names in the crafting world too

That’s all I’m saying for now…

Our next market is this month but we have had only ONE application so far!

If you make anything that reduces, reuses or recycles then please apply online, it doesn’t need to be fashion, it just needs to be made all or in part from sustainable or up-cycled materials.

For example, products made out of old bed sheets or reusing old products to make new things.
