We absolutely love trainspotting at Manors Railway Station and that's where we've been this morning, with lots of action as seen below.
Manors is just north of Newcastle Central Station and it has a great island platform where you're surrounded by three lines and six signals which help indicate when a train is coming.
In this video, we saw a "Doubler" Cross Country Voyager on the Down Line, with the leading train being one of the new look liveries and the rear train in Cross Country's older colours. Then on the through line, a GBRF freight train heading towards Lynemouth pulled by a Class 66 locomotive, 66768 Yvonne Bradley giving us a horn blast as it passes. Then finally, a Northern sprinter, Class 158 arrives on the Up Line and stops at platform 1. A mad minute of action.
