Tommy's Trains

Tommy's Trains We are Tommy and Daddy and we love visiting railway stations to see trains and to record our adventures.

Visit our YouTube channel to see all of our videos and shorts or take a look at our Instagram page for photos we've taken πŸš‚ We are Tommy and Daddy and we love trains.

πŸš‚ Tommy has loved trains from an early age, watching other people's YouTube videos before being inspired by local Trainspotters Harry and Tristan to create his own.

πŸš‚ Daddy had a mild interest in trains until Tommy made it an obs

ession for both of us, inspiring Daddy to get a job on the railway which he loves.

πŸš‚ Our main aim is to have fun together, visiting stations seeing interesting trains but our biggest priority is always SAFETY!!

πŸš‚ We try to upload 2-3 videos a week as well as a daily short to Youtube as well as photos to Instagram. Videos are taken on a Google Pixel phone and uploaded in 4K

πŸš‚ Cramlington and Morpeth are our local stations which we visit after Tommy finishes school through the week. During school holidays and on weekends, we try to venture further away.

On our way back to The North East from Dover, we stopped off at Huntingdon Railway Station where this LNER Inter City 225 (91111 For The Fallen) gave us a fantastic horn blast as it shot past heading north.

We did a video at Huntingdon and Dover Priory Railway Stations which is available on our YouTube channel now.

A final compilation of our time in France and it's a collection of fantastic horn blasts from a variety of French trains at a variety of French stations.

The pink Ouigo Classique in Les Rosiers sur Loire at the end is fantastic but the TER at Tours is pretty special too.

We hope everyone that is going back to school this week has a great return. We know it can be a stressful time for kids and parents so we hope you're all good. Tommy was very happy to see his friends again on his first day 😊

An LNER Inter City 225 gives Tommy an amazing blast of its horn as it glided through Doncaster Railway Station on the Down Main Line.

Tommy sees two Tamper Trains in one day at Cramlington Railway Station, the Frist belonging to VolkerRail and the second to Network Rail.

How cool are the tones from the 2nd train before LNER's latest livery, 801228, Gresley 150 appears with its own tones?

Tommy loved the TGV trains (Train Γ  Grande Vitesse) in France. Here's a compilation of some of the ones we saw in Ancenis and our local station, Les Rosiers sur Loire.

During our holiday in France, we didn't plan to go to Ancenis but then we had a spare few hours one afternoon and we're so glad we made the effort.

It was a really nice station which had lots of trains stopping there but also TGVs flying through. The drivers were great too, chatting to Tommy and in these four cases, blasting their horns for him.

We didn't see much freight whilst we were in France but we did see these locomotives shunting from one end of their wagons to the other at Gare de Saumur.

We're back in the UK, which means we can start catching up with uploading content from our trip to France.

We were based in Les Rosiers sur Loire in The Loire Valley and that's where this video was taken, an 11 tone horn blast from Daddy's favourite train of the holiday, a Ouigo Train Classique pulled by a beautiful pink 1980s locomotive

Drivers of a Cross Country Voyager and a Northern Class 156 entertain us whilst trainspotting at Manors Railway Station

22/08/2026

We were at Woodlesford Railway Station to see West Coast Railway's Scarborough Spa Express railtour arriving before heading off to Scarborough where we also headed to see it again.

It was supposed to be a Steam Engine but because of the risk of wildfires, two Class 47 diesel locomotives were used instead.
