Good to catch up with a lots of people at a great local football club, a shame about the result but carry on playing like you did at the start of the second half and the wins will come, good luck for the rest of the season lads.

This week has been a good week, I’ve been named transport manager for a second customer, thank you for your support and putting your trust in me.
Not only that but I received I nice email this week off a haulage company who I sent a letter out to with information on myself what I’m doing and the services I’m offering, they have taken the time to read the letter and email me back, although they don’t have any work for me at the moment they have taken the time in their no doubt busy schedule to reply and offer me their best wishes, this means a lot to me that someone had taken the time to do that, so thank you I appreciate it.

Hi all, I would like to introduce myself and tell you little about me and my future b business venture. my name is Charlie Bathgate and I am based in Dalton in Furness, Cumbria and have been working in the haulage industry for the last 17 years as a driver working in many sectors such as bulk tipper, livestock, flats, tankers, low loaders and general haulage. I have now decided the time is right for me to follow a new career path and work in the admin side of the haulage industry, an area that has always interested me and I now feel the time is right for me to make that change.

I have now qualified as a transport manager an area that has always interested me and going forward I am now looking for clients that require my help in transport management and offer my help and experience in the haulage industry to your business going forward. I am also in the process of gaining my qualification to become a drivers CPC trainer so I can run drivers CPC courses as well, which I hope to be able to start providing in the next few months, I will put a further update out when they are available. with my many years experience I feel these two areas of the haulage industry can work well together and benefit a haulage business.

As I am very much aware it will take time to build my client base up and be able to make this my full time job, so at present I am still driving 3 days a week to help cover living expenses, however this will leave me enough time to make sure you as my client I can give your business the time and effort to make sure the day to day running of your haulage business runs smoothly and keep your wagons on the road safely and efficiently.
