Scotch Whisky Exports Set For Boost As Trump Ends 10% Tariff.

-President Trump has recently confirmed that all tariffs and restrictions on whisky imports from the UK will be removed in honour of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s recent state visit to the US. Since last year, British whiskies had been subject to a 10 percent tariff. The duties were initially introduced under IEEPA tariffs and later reimposed under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974.
