I've just donated to Remember Mary Barbour Association. In 1915, while the nation was in the grip of World War One, Mary Barbour led an army of Glasgow housewives to victory over greedy landlords with a successful rent strike.
She became a formidable campaigner for working class people.
Please donate to help raise a statue in memory of Mary Barbour.
