It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of Luke. Luke was not just a colleague, he was our friend and a cherished member of our MRA Family. Yesterday we got to say our final goodbyes, in what was a truly beautiful send off.
Luke started with us in 2020 and anyone who had the pleasure of working with or meeting Luke will know what a kind, caring, honest, respectful lad he was who wore his heart on his sleeve …affectionately earning him the nickname Lukey Bear
We will miss him walking around the yard with his backpack high on his back with a bag full of snacks in each hand. We will miss him rallying everyone on a Thursday afternoon in preparation of not impacting his early finish on a Friday, the phrase “I don’t want you impacting my Friday” will go down in MRA history. We will miss his legendary ability to reverse his truck blindside around any corner or obstacle directly into the space he needed in one hit. We will miss teasing him about drinking fruit shoots due to his dislike of hot drinks. But most of all we will miss his amazing personality, infectious laugh, his cracking sense of humour and the banter we all shared.
Forever in our hearts, rest easy LB 🐻 ♥️♥️♥️
