If you are interested in having your van fitted out with solid birch then contact me. I have enough birch currently drying to do a van. My stockpile includes some live edge pieces and was all sourced locally. It will be ready in January when i currently have a free build slot. Pics relate to a van i fitted out 2 years ago with a combination of birch, spruce, tongue and groove and Eucalyptus ply.

This is Bea, an ex DHL Sprinter that came to me 8 weeks ago with the insulation, wiring, skylights and window already done. I have done all the woodwork which is made to measure. I have also laid the vinyl floor and carpeted the door pillars. It's now ready to return to its owner for cupboard door handles, plumbing, second fix electrics, upholstery and decorating. The customer gave me a design and 30 working days later it was complete.

Been building the kitchen unit and have recycled an old table as a worktop. Van nearly finished and the customer has her paint brush ready! I have posted a video on youtube describing how I built the kitchen unit.

Made a lot of progress in the last month on this ex DHL Sprinter. Got the lower kitchen cabinet to do, cupboard doors, bed and a few snagging jobs to tidy it up. Then it will be returned to the customer for second fix electrics, plumbing and decorating.👍

Bathroom renovation completed on my own Van. Old chemical toilet and very tired shower tray removed. I had a tough plastic shower tray made for me by EMPF Water Tanks. Great service and reasonable price. I have ordered a portable compost toilet which I can empty without taking the motorbike off the back of the van. I can also lift it out leaving more space for a decent shower.

More silver birch aquired today. Will be planked and stored soon. Should get a decent kitchen unit frame and worktop from that in a years time. I now have plenty of birch for another beautiful camper in 2027.

A photo album of the 2025 VW Crafter i've been working on over the last 5 weeks, returned to the customer on Christmas Eve. Walls, ceiling, suede lining, cupboards, worktops and shower room installed. To see the build you can follow the owner George on youtube here
