RC465 00 LMS TUBE WAGON DIA1675 - £12.50 + p&p

This kit is designed to produce a model of the 27ft LMS Tube Wagon dia 1675 built between 1933 and 1936 and suitable numbers are 49900-499299 or 499400-499599. An Illustrated History of LMS Wagons Vol 1 by R J Essery.

We have included a coupler mounting block for Bachman 36027 Mark 2 Couplings NEM shaft (cranked) with pocket.

The kit requires 12mm wheels on 26mm axles, Couplers, paint & decals to finish.

All the 4mm rolling stock kits are now supplied with bearings.

RC447 SR DIA1386 20T MINERAL WAGON KIT -
£11.00 + p&p.

This kit is designed to make a model of the Southern Dia 1386 20T Mineral Wagon. Full details of these wagons can be found in An Illustrated History of Southern Wagons, volume 4.

89 built 1934-1935 Numbered 40301 - 40990 and 41001 - 41200, 40201 - 40300 were lettered loco coal.

The kit requires standard wagon wheels on 26mm axles, couplers, paint & transfers to complete.

4mm kits now come supplied with bearings.

What a week it’s been at Chivers Finelines!! We have been working on sorting out the cnc situation. As previously mentioned our main cnc has been causing us some problems. Now many years ago my Dad brought a newer version of our trusted machines, but never managed to get it working on a computer!

This week after a lot of head scratching and stress… I’ve managed to get the newer machine running, seen here doing a phantom cut (no tool or workpiece). Amazingly it only has 36hrs hours of use!!

This machine can replace the troublesome one… just got to set up the bed to hold the material.. and we can get back to new tooling!!

Go see our good friend Charlie’s layout at the Stafford exhibition this weekend and you may see this wonderful kit bash coach built from our 009 Innisfail tramway coach kit (RC810) sides.

RC436 - LMS DIA 2115 6W EXPRESS FISH VAN KIT - £16.00 +p&p

This kit is designed to make a OO model of the LMS Dia 2115 6 wheel express fish van. A useful drawing and photogragh appears in Nick Camplings Historic Coach drawings Vol.3 and The Illustrated History of LMS Standard Coaching Stock Vol.1 by Jenkinson & Essery. These vans were introduced inbetween 1946 and 1949, a total of 140 numbered 40300 - 40339. After fish traffic ended in 1965 many of them were transferred to departmental stores vans.

The kit requires 14mm wheels on 26mm axles, Couplers, Vac pipes, paint & decals to finish.

Kits includes White metal Buffers, Vac cylinder & arm, Etched coupling hooks & short piece of wire
