The Peter Pan experience at the Shard, London. Not many photos because the high tea was way too yum to interrupt… yep… that’s London Bridge in the blurry background and of course I got the Wendy plate. What an experience!! 32 stories up above London Town.

From@Bath Spa station to Camden, London. We negotiated the public transport with our ever expanding luggage…. found our way to La Gaffe B&B, greeted by the wonderful Giuseppe who helped us up three flights with said luggage! A perfect place to stay for our last three nights. Then back to reality with cooramook textiles first market gig at the Terang Makers Market on the 17th Aug.

A little dream of mine, quite a simple one, was to see a thatched cottage for reals. This one is c18th and didn’t disappoint …. The walk back up the hill to the car park however…… phew 😮‍💨 and one of the very few 30’c days in England!!! Castle Combes, Cotswolds

Travelling with a person whose laughter is contagious and often spontaneous….. one more night of Edinburgh then hello Stirling and then onto Kinlochmoidart. The adventures are just starting….. my belly full of extremely satisfying and tasty fare, my feet throbbing with walking from dawn till dusk (only a slight exaggeration there), meeting exceptionally friendly folks everyday and immersing ourselves in the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh in July.

Where am I? Some will know this monument immediately- an amazing city - full of history and young vapers….
