When in London 🇬🇧 you have to add a stop at Heddon Street Kitchen—one of Gordon Ramsay’s iconic spots (he has 80+ restaurants worldwide 🌍).

One of those true bucket list moments? Finally tasting his infamous Beef Wellington… and yes, we went all in with the full experience! 🥩✨

Travel for us almost always revolves around food—and this one was personal. Luke has read Humble Pie, and we’ve spent countless nights watching Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, and more. Seeing it all come to life on a plate? Unreal.

Just a really cool, full-circle moment checking this one off the list. ✔️

Alaska was the perfect mix of mission trip + mountain adventure. 🏔️✨

From rushing cold rivers and beaches overlooking a volcano, to spotting a bear, a moose, and countless fishing boats bringing in the fresh cuisine of the towns — Alaska felt wild, beautiful, and unforgettable.

We stopped at Land’s End in Homer, walked along the waters, breathed in the fresh Alaskan air, and served in the local community of Soldotna. We beheld Pioneer Peak near Anchorage, ate a meal in an old train, and laughed at just how much hunting gear could fit into almost every store.

Alaska is truly filled with mountaintop experiences — literally and spiritually. We didn’t even scratch the surface, but what a sweet and incredible time we had as a family.

Definitely a recommended trip within the States. 🇺🇸✨

Did you know there’s a restaurant tucked inside a UN building in Paris? 🇫🇷

Not your typical lunch spot…

A friend of mine works inside the UNESCO headquarters and invited us in for a meal at Le Restaurant du Siège de l’UNESCO—where delegates, dignitaries, and world leaders casually sit down to eat between conversations that shape nations.

Just pause on that for a second…

There I was, sitting in a room filled with languages from all over the world, surrounded by influence, history, and purpose—yet it felt so peaceful, so normal… and somehow extraordinary all at once.

And of course… when in Paris… you order the duck. 🦆
Let’s just say it did not disappoint. Rich, perfectly cooked, one of those meals you slow down for because you don’t want the moment to end.

This is what I love about travel…
It places you in rooms you never could have planned your way into.

Moments like this don’t just happen… they’re part of the adventure.

Joy is found in the most unexpected places… sometimes even inside a UN building in Paris.

I don’t have to justify my love for travel. 🌍
I’m part of the portion of the world that finds joy in exploring—and I’m genuinely happy to live that way.

Made a bunch of memories in the The Bahamas 🇧🇸✨️

Having friends all over the world is a perk—but experiencing God’s favor is a true blessing. This trip had everything… from exploring a hidden pirate cave (and running out swatting swarms of mosquitoes 😅), to laying hands on wild stingrays, swinging over sandbars, and feeding hot dogs to the famous pigs in Exuma 🐖🌊

We pulled in grunts while line fishing, snorkeled in crystal-clear water, wandered through the vibrant Nassau Straw Market, and visited the iconic Atlantis Paradise Island. And yes—you were right to question it… those breathtaking steps are called the Queen's Staircase (not “Queen’s Passage”)—and they are no joke climbing in that island heat! 🥵

Another destination that absolutely deserves a repeat visit.

And the adventure isn’t stopping—we won a cruise this year and we’re taking Syd with us this time! 🚢💙

What about you… is the Bahamas calling your name this summer?
Adventure is out there—hands on hips, tickets booked, countdown ON! ⏳✈️🌴

🎶 Her first concert.
✨ Our favorite kind of memory.

Last summer we took our daughter to Dallas—House of Blues, Crash Adams, and a whole lot of joy. And honestly… it wasn’t just about the concert.

It was about us.
The laughter. The bonding. The “remember when…” moments that stay with you forever.

We’ve learned something along the way—
The best gifts aren’t things… they’re experiences.

If I’m being real?
I’d trade it all for one more adventure.

☀️ Summer is coming…
What kind of memories do you want to make this year?

And if planning feels overwhelming—I’ve got you. From concerts to getaways to full itineraries, I help make it simple (and joyful 😉)

DM me “SUMMER” and let’s start dreaming ✈️

The Lord’s Supper painting in the Louvre is massive… over 29 feet wide and 15 feet tall massive. 😳

That’s basically half a basketball court stretched across a wall.

I had never looked up its actual size before, but seeing it in person? Absolutely jaw-dropping.

I never really thought of myself as a “museum person,” but standing face-to-face with a world treasure like that… it does something to you. It slows you down. It makes you feel the weight of history, beauty, and brilliance all at once.

Turns out—this was a bucket list moment I didn’t even know I needed.

So now I’m curious… what’s on your bucket list?

Road trip mode: ON 🚗☕️

Year ✌️ at the Dallas Coffee Festival and it did not disappoint! From an overnight hotel stay to nonstop laughs with my bestie, this is my kind of travel.

There’s something special about mixing adventure with connection—running into friends, discovering new favorites, and sipping on all things coffee ☕️

Travel doesn’t always have to be far… sometimes it’s just a short drive, a full heart, and a really good cup of coffee.

There’s a deeper reason behind what I do with Joyful Runway Life… 🤍

It’s not just about travel.
It’s about creating space for women who have been carrying so much… for so long.

This is why I support Contagious Joy 4 Him, led by my dear friend and mentor, Diane Nix. Her life and ministry are rooted in walking alongside women through real pain, real struggles, and real healing.

She creates retreats where women can pause, breathe, and be restored.
And the most incredible part? These retreats are completely free.

Because the women who pour out the most… often need a place to be poured back into.

“Built for the ones who don’t stop.”
That phrase carries a deeper meaning for me.
It’s for the women who keep going—through ministry, motherhood, leadership, and life—
but need a moment to be held, refreshed, and reminded they’re not alone.

When you book travel with me, a portion goes toward supporting this ministry.
So your trip becomes part of someone else’s healing journey.

If your heart feels stirred, you can also give directly or sponsor a retreat:

Let’s be women who not only go…
but help others find rest along the way. ✨
