If you hike, you know.

Everyone thinks you spend hours taking in incredible mountain viewsā€¦

Reality?

šŸ‘€ 95% of the time:
Feet. Rocks. Mud. Roots.
ā€œDonā€™t tripā€¦ donā€™t tripā€¦ donā€™t tripā€¦ā€

šŸ‘€ 5% of the time:
ā€œWOWā€¦ LOOK AT THAT VIEW!ā€

Then straight back to staring at your feet so you donā€™t fall flat on your face.

The secret to actually enjoying the views?

STOP WALKING. LOOK UP.

And rememberā€¦ ā€œOh yeahā€¦ THATā€™S why weā€™re here.ā€

Just returned from the AMAZON!!!

One week deep in the Peruvian Amazon searching for all creatures great and smallā€¦ and we found plenty!

Monkeys, caimans, snakes, spiders, colourful birds and a whole load of things that seemed determined to bite us! šŸ¤£

It was hot, humid, sweaty and VERY wildā€¦ but worth every single moment.

Early mornings, late-night jungle walks, boat trips, strange noises in the darkness and never quite knowing what was hiding around the next corner.

What an incredible final adventure in Peru.

Now we start our long journey back to civilisationā€¦ and possibly the longest shower ever. šŸ˜‚
