Something I’m so grateful for is all the countries I’ve visited.

The memories, the moments, the random thoughts when your reminded of a place or a meal you had somewhere new.

I will never regret any of the holidays I’ve had and I doubt you will either!

Being part of this travel platform helps me squeeze more holidays into the year.

Oh Cape Town you stole my heart ❤️

Here’s a few highlights from part 1 of our holiday in South Africa 🇿🇦

Cape Town is such a beautiful place with SO much to do for families.

We could have spent much longer here. It felt safe, gorgeous food, stunning scenery and endless beaches!

⭐️ Going up table mountain
⭐️ The best airbnb we have ever stayed in Hout Bay
⭐️ Fun at the V&A waterfront where only my husband would ask to join the band 🙈
⭐️ Doing Cape Town park run infront of table mountain
⭐️ Seeing the penguins at Boulders Beach and discovering a secret location to get up close (I’ll shareva post later so you can find it too!)
⭐️ Wandering around a gorgeous colourful district full of houses and shops in Bo Kaap

Thank you Cape Town, we’ll be back 🫶

Tips for longhaul flight with kids 👇

If you’re the king or queen of organising holiday logistics in your household, this one’s for you!

I’ve got a big holiday coming up so thought I’d share some of the things I do in the lead-up to help get me organised when travelling with young kids.

My first ever longhaul flight with kids I was honestly so apprehensive so if this helps anyone’s first flight with kids I’m glad!

The Italian lakes you need to visit 👇

I took a trip to Lake Como and yes, it was gorgeous — but it’s definitely not a secret anymore!

It was heaving with tourists. If you love that lakes-and-Italian-villages vibe but don’t fancy battling the crowds, here are four quieter lakes to pop on your bucket list instead.

⭐ Lake Orta — medieval lakeside vibes + row out to tiny San Giulio island + chestnut forests all around (storybook feel 🥹)

⭐ Lago d’Iseo — Monte Isola (which is a stunning mountain right in the middle) You can boat over for a slow seafood lunch 🍲

⭐ Lago d’Idro — cold, clear water + chalkboard-menu trattorias + a little hilltop castle above the village for the views

⭐ Lago di Ledro — UNESCO lake energy, just 10km from Riva, up in the Dolomite foothills + that unreal turquoise alpine water (and it’s noticeably cooler in summer)

Grab yourself a complimentary tour of The City of London from the sky!

The last 20 mins of any flight with kids can draaaaag!

Something I try to do when flying INTO Heathrow, is pick the window seat that is anything but seat A! (i.e sit on the right side of the plane!)

Depending on the size of your plane it’ll be either seat F, H, J or K

Something to add, Heathrow does change their runway halfway through the day, so it’s never guaranteed you’ll fly in from the east over the city, but if you do it helps those never-ending last few minutes of the journey for sure!

You can see Big Ben, London Eye, Canary Wharf, The River Thames, the Shard, plus several sports stadiums and hundreds of ant-like cars around the city. My two loved it!
