Peacefully in the care of Highview House, Inverness on Sunday 19th October 2025, Richard John Fraser, aged 80 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Beb, much loved father of Andrew and Gordon and cherished papa of Charlie, Finn, William and Evelyn. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and work colleagues. Funeral service on Thursday 30th October 2025 at 10.15am in St Clements Parish Church, Dingwall; thereafter to Tore Cemetery. All welcome to attend. No flowers please. Donations in memory of Richard towards Dingwall Community Nurses and Alzheimer Scotland may be given at the door. Livestream available on D. Job Opportunities

360 Operators - We have openings for 360 ops with an immediate start. The candidate must hold a valid CITB CPCS card or NPORS with CSCS logo card. Experience necessary working on site clearance and preparation jobs, house builds including working around services.

Cover Class 2 HGV Drivers - We are looking for temporary HGV Tipper Drivers to cover sickness and holiday cover into next year. Immediate start available. Experience necessary working on tarring jobs, quarry work and muck shifting. This position could lead to a full time post within the company.

Both openings require the candidate to work well as an individual as well as a team. Must be able to follow instruction and take pride in their work and machine. Overtime and weekly bonuses available for both openings.

We are all devastated for the loss of Norman who was a massive part of our family since 1986. Many a sweetie enjoyed by all.

Suddenly but peacefully at home on 23 August 2022, Norman Alexander Findlay, aged 71 years, Fortrose (retired low loader driver, Richard Fraser, Munlochy), a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and very good friend to many. Funeral Ceremony on Tuesday 6 September 2022 at 2pm in Fortrose & Rosemarkie New Cemetery. All welcome to attend. Attendees are requested to gather outside the cemetery entrance as Norman will arrive on a lorry provided by his former employer, Richard Fraser Contractors, Munlochy. Donations if desired in memory of Norman towards Highland Hospice may be given at the cemetery.
