HGV Technician (Late Shift) – Griffins Logistics
Location: Tuxford Nottinghamshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible start between 11:00am or 12:00 noon – 7:00pm
Salary: £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role working on our in-house fleet, giving you consistency and variety without the pressure of external customer work.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV trucks and trailers
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Conduct inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep the fleet running smoothly
• Saturday morning every 6 months for Lola testing of tail lifts
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of HGV systems, trailers, and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
