Hello everyone!
My last post on this page was October 2022. Crazy!
I felt it was only right to come back and give a small update about everything, including this page as I really feel keen to start something back up again.
First of all I would like to say that I hope everyone has had the best year possible, time was spent with family, you were there for someone, you showed love, appreciation and gratitude for everything good that came your way.
Secondly, since my last annual (sorry about that!) update, I have started another chapter in college in the form of a higher level of photography. I also started working part time back in March alongside and throughout the summer to make sure that I can actually afford those train rides to and from college!
My family have supported me throughout the year, helping me pass my driving test in May, and providing a car for me to travel the country in. Thanks to them I have seen so many things, been so many places and experienced some incredible things with amazing people.
I have started working with a local football team, Bournemouth Poppies, as a photographer in their media team, and I have had so much fun and learnt so much whilst following them around the South Coast!
Throughout the year I have learnt so much, I have lost people loved, and gained so many more. The year wasn't all positive and one thing that took a huge hit was due to my colourblindness, my dream in recent years has been to become an RAF Photographer. Doing what I love the most and taking pictures of planes all over the world (whilst getting paid for it!). But unfortunately due to my colourblindness this dream was no longer possible.
Earlier in the year another thing that I lost was flying. This was due to the affordability of learning to fly, time and energy that flying takes up so much of. Something I definitely hope to finish later on down the line though.
However I've always managed to keep a positive mindset, always looking forward and managing my mental and physical health in whatever way needed. Over the course of the year I've learnt how important this is.
Throughout the summer, whilst working my part time job, spending time with family and friends, and taking pictures of planes, something was always in the back of my mind though, and that was always a Calendar.
I would really love to start up this account properly again, sending calendars to places like Las Vegas, Thailand, France, Scotland and the beauty that is Birmingham as well as many others, and this is what I hope to do next year.
And, in the next few weeks, I will look at all options for a fundraiser to raise money for more incredible charities and I will work as hard as possible to make something that maybe could be produced in the summer, as well as a calendar in October.
I'd like to wrap up this huge annual (sorry again!) update by wishing everyone a very merry Christmas, a happy new year and that everyone made the very best of 2023.
More updates to follow...
Thank you all, Will❤️
