Amazing displays of strength today with The Train Wreck Open! Strongmen and Strongwomen wowed audience members with their strength, skill and determination, including pulling one of our locomotive carriages.

The event continues tomorrow, with competitors pulling our steam locomotive, Eigiau!

FREE to pop along to view and support these athletes 💪🚂

Food & Drink available to purchase on site. Free parking.

We have made the difficult decision to suspend the steam locomotives from service on Sunday's event. Unfortunately, the conditions are too dry and the locos pose a significant fire risk.

There will be more diesel locos in action on the day including some rarely seen in service.

The model railway show is going ahead as planned!

What a busy last couple of weekends for the BWLR team!
We were delighted to be joined by Kent Downs Woodfair, Beer & Music Festival the weekend before last (photos to come) and the team were at Rock n Ribs Festival this weekend just gone, offering amazing opportunities to view the awesome site!!
Roll on this weekend, 25th July for Off The Rails Music Fest! 🎵
