Just recently we’ve had some incidents caused by careless car drivers & putting themselves in areas where HGV driver would not see you. This can cost £££££’s in repair/hire/injury claims for the likes of us & does. If you have a young driver in your house, or even an impatient one that believes everything should go by rail (ain’t gonna happen in our lifetime!) please make them watch this. It may save a lot of damage or even a life. If you can’t see the mirrors, the driver can’t see you. An HGV needs more stopping distance than you. An HGV cannot take off as quick as you. If you see an HGV straddle the white line at a roundabout, he’s not doing it to p**s you off, he needs more area to make sure the trailer goes round in the lines set out. Do not attempt to undertake on a roundabout or even on the motorway. Give way to larger vehicles. Remember, a blind spot means the driver CANNOT SEE YOU!! 🙏

A big thank you to Adrian at Ford & Slater DAF Spalding for our new addition .. 480XG Plus from the Sapphire range all ready for London. Complete with leather interior, chrome trim & airhorns just in case you don’t see us, you’ll definitely hear us!! We think our driver Steve is going to enjoy this with the extra space for living in & we know he’ll look after her 😍 Our boys & girls spend precious time away from their families to keep all industries running from manufacturing, agricultural/horticultural & supermarket demands, we think they deserve to have some comfort ☺️
