5 and 7.25-inch miniature railway located at Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway. we Aim to run both 5 inch and 7.25 inch gauges

We are a miniature railway, that once built will run on roughly 300 meters of track in a oval around the car park area of our big brother the Chinnor and Princess Risborough Railway.

Both the main line services and the Miniature railway services are up and running today, come along and have a great day out at Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway and get the opportunity to have a ride on our test track in the station car park today!

What a difference even a few minutes makes

Volunteers at the CMR are today at Chinnor clearing the test track to enable future running sessions.

An 7.25" gauge 67 fresh from the paint shop, with also an fresh overhauled chassis including mtronics controls and sound board, this thing a beast !.

After a couple of test runs it was clear the track still needed work so today a big turnout of MR volunteers set out to adjust the track to enable an safe ride well done to all that turned up!!

A few adjustments to the loco and we be g8ving rides again, watch this space

We are delighted to be able to announce that work has started our top secret project that involves regauging the line between Princes Risborough and Chinnor to enable longer runs of MR trains between the two stations.

As can be seen from the image below the work has already started and to save costs we are reusing the existing track and sleepers!

We look forward to welcoming you on board our first such services at midday today after a lot of hard work by the PWay team overnight!

An cold but sunny Sunday means steam!
Our club first steam ticket given to the privately owned "tich" on loan to us today (first of many) we couldn't help but to take it to the test track for running tests.

Hopefully depending on weather she will be giving public rides for donations on the 10th!!

An major milestone for us, our first owned loco has been test ran and bedded in, just the body to paint and finish.

On another note we have upgraded our Demo track to be able to take public on rides for donations to fund our layout, we plan to be open every day the big railway is running.

Another Sunday another work party!
Today we have started to make our demo track safe for public rides, yes that's right, starting this year we will be giving rides to members of the public for a donation to help fund the project. Keep an eye out on more information on this soon

You’ve heard of watching paint dry, now watch it disappear!

Work continues in the chassis of a 9F which we hope to have completely rebuilt and working by early 2025.

After a full rewire and replacement motor bogies custom designed, today saw the first bench power test of the new motors and controller with sound !!

this has taken almost 10 months but the end is near. Unfortunately, i need to wait for warmer weather to paint the body. but you will see this loco test running on our test track
