This is not a sad post. Quite the opposite, it's time 💙

And not because it's failed (far from it!!!) Not because I've lost my love of candles, or making them, this little business has given me more than I could ever have imagined.

And don't panic this isn't happening today or tomorrow or next week. We've still got some time together before the doors finally close - I'll share more about those kind of details very soon for now I just wanted to share this with you all, because it didn't feel right not to

There is also so much more to it than I can fit into one post hahaha so expect some emails too

I'm still not over it.

A little bit of Pemberley magic.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE Pride and Prejudice, so visiting Chatsworth House — the real-life Pemberley — was always going to make my little bookworm heart very happy.

A lovely day wandering around with my sister, soaking it all in and feeling like I’d accidentally stepped into one of my favourite books.

And no, Mr Darcy didn’t come with us… I left him at home. 😉😂

When you start looking for them, they seem to be everywhere. And all those little moments of joy, calm, connection and contentment start to stack up.
And before you know it, you’ve got a whole day that felt pretty bloody lovely.
Maybe we spend too much time waiting for the big things to make us happy.
Maybe the magic is in noticing what’s already there.
The little glimmers.
The ordinary bits.
The moments we might have otherwise walked straight past.
Because somehow, all those tiny little things add up to something quite huge?

A few months ago I decided things had to change.
I stopped worrying about posting every day.
I stopped trying to make everything look perfect.
I stopped trying to beat the algorithm.

And do you know what happened?

I became happier.

Sometimes less really is more 💚

Candles, for me, have never been just candles. They're little rituals woven into my day.

Lighting one is a pause. A marker. A gentle reminder to slow down.

Summer is always a quieter season for my little business, and with the recent heatwave it's been even slower. But honestly? I'm not complaining. I love this time of year. It's given me the chance to catch up on all the behind-the-scenes jobs that get pushed aside when life gets busy, and preparations for our busiest season are already well underway.

It's also given me something even more precious... time. Time with my girls as we all settle into this new chapter of life now they've moved into homes of their own. Our relationship is changing in the loveliest way, and I'm really enjoying discovering what the next pages looks like.

I've been spending less and less time on social media too, and so far it's only been a good thing. It's made more space for real life, while reminding me that this little business can still grow without me feeling like I have to be online every minute of the day.

Thank you, as always, for every order, every kind message and for sticking by me, even though I'm showing up a little differently these days. It means more than you know.

Right then, enough waffling... I'll pop the kettle on. You light the candle
