Last week I visited the beautiful city of Krakow for a 4 day break. Got very lucky with the weather and packed in many activities during our stay. This was first and foremost a leisure trip but I learned a lot about the city for any future customers who make an enquiry about Krakow - the districts of the city, walking distances to certain attractions and other small details.
We stayed near the Old Town in the Bachleda Luxury Hotel, a hotel that I would highly recommend - though there are many great hotel options in the city.
One of the highlights of our stay were the Krakow Explorers walking tours. We took the Old Town and Wawel Castle tour with Matt who was brilliant, a really interesting and witty guide. And after visiting Schindlers factory we took the Jewish Quarter and the Former Ghetto walking tour with Bartek, again a really great tour guide who delivered the tour with sensitivity. These tours were free with tipping of your own choice at the end, and I'd say essential for anyone visiting Krakow.
Krakow is a great city with lots to see and do, excellent hotels and eating out options.
So if you're thinking of a short break, get in touch and I can help.
