🇭🇷✈️ THE SECRET’S OUT… I’M OFF TO CROATIA!

Some of you guessed it… 👀👏

This Saturday I’ll be heading to beautiful Croatia 🇭🇷 after being invited on a hosted trip by the Croatian Tourist Board and I honestly can’t wait!

This isn't going to be your typical fly-and-flop trip either… judging by my itinerary, I may need a holiday when I get home! 😂

Over the course of the trip I’ll be travelling by road and catamaran and getting a real taste of what this part of Croatia has to offer.

🏛️ Historic towns & incredible sights
🏝️ Beautiful Croatian islands
⛴️ Island hopping
🫒 Local produce & olive oil
🍷 Croatian w**e
🍽️ Plenty of local food
🏨 Hotels & resorts

The whole reason for trips like this is to experience a destination first-hand, because there’s nothing quite like being able to tell my clients “I've been, I've seen it, and this is what I'd recommend.” ❤️

Some very special clients of mine have just returned from a gorgeous week away that I booked for them and, quite frankly, I have serious holiday envy. 🤍

And when I say this place is Instagram-worthy… the influencers would have an absolute field day here. 📸✨

Some very special clients of mine have just returned from a rather gorgeous week away and, having seen their photos, I think it’s safe to say this one is going straight on a few wish lists. 😍

Think Adults Only, All Inclusive, incredible food, stunning views and ridiculously Instagram-worthy surroundings. ✨

A few days ago I told you I’m off on my travels again very soon!!

So, shall we narrow it down a little?

I’m heading away on Saturday as a guest of the Tourist Board, and judging by the itinerary they’ve put together for us, I don't think there’s going to be much sitting around! 😂

This is going to be a proper fact-finding trip, exploring different places, experiencing the food, culture, history, beaches and islands, and finding out what this destination is REALLY like so I can come back with plenty of first-hand knowledge to share with you.

✈️💙 HAPPY NATIONAL TRAVEL AGENT DAY… TO ME! 😂

Well, apparently there’s a day for everything… so it would be rude not to celebrate this one! 🥂 (Mine will be alcohol-free, obviously! 😂)

Being a Travel Advisor is so much more than simply pressing a button and booking a holiday.

It’s the hours spent researching, comparing flights, finding the right hotel, checking locations, sorting transfers, looking at different room types, planning complicated itineraries, answering the “just one more question…” messages 😂 and being there when something doesn't quite go to plan.

And I genuinely LOVE it. ❤️🌍

One day I can be booking a week in Spain, the next a cruise, then a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan, a solo adventure, a multi-centre itinerary across the other side of the world… no two days are ever the same.

And there are some pretty good reasons to book with me too…

In just over a week, I’ll be packing my case and heading off on a very exciting trip, and this one is a little bit special. ❤️

I’ve been invited on a hosted trip by a Tourist Board, which means I’m going to be seeing, tasting and experiencing as much of the destination as possible… all in the name of research, obviously! 😂✈️

I’m not telling you where just yet though…

☕️ **A little Friday morning thought from my booking desk…** ✈️🌍

Over the last few posts, I've shared just a handful of the holidays I've been busy booking recently.

There really isn't a typical client or a typical holiday that I book.

I've had a last-minute luxury cruise that needed turning around quickly, a spontaneous mother & daughter escape, friends booking their annual holiday together, returning clients coming back for their second trip, a couple looking for something a little more special, a Rome city break for 2027, and a completely bespoke solo multi-centre adventure around Thailand.

All completely different people, travelling for completely different reasons. ❤️

And that's the point…

You don't have to fit into a particular box to book with me.

Whether you've suddenly decided you need some sunshine next week, you're starting to think about 2027/2028, you're travelling solo, as a couple, with friends or family, or you have a big complicated itinerary in your head and don't quite know where to start…

And the final one in my recently booked collection is something completely different again… and a great example of just how individual a holiday can be. ✈️🌏

This is a bespoke multi-centre Thailand adventure for a solo traveller, heading off in February 2027 and experiencing three very different sides of the country:

🇹🇭 Bangkok
🇹🇭 Chiang Mai
🇹🇭 Hua Hin

But this trip is about much more than simply having a holiday.

My client is considering retiring to Thailand in the future, so rather than choosing one resort and spending two weeks there, we've created an itinerary that allows him to experience different areas, get a feel for everyday life and start discovering where might potentially suit him longer term.

Bangkok for the energy of the city, Chiang Mai for a completely different pace and culture, before finishing in Hua Hin with some time by the coast. 🌴

This is exactly where tailor-made travel comes into its own. The holiday has been built around his reasons for travelling, rather than trying to make him fit into an off-the-shelf itinerary.

And travelling solo certainly doesn't mean your choices have to be limited either!

From the first booking I shared – a last-minute Oceania cruise – right through to this bespoke Thailand adventure for 2027, I think these recent bookings show just how varied my days can be.

Different people. Different reasons for travelling. Completely different holidays. And that's exactly why I love what I do. ❤️🌍

We're looking a little further ahead with the next one in my recently booked collection… all the way to March 2027 ✈️

This couple are heading to Rome, staying at the lovely Marcella Royal Hotel – Rooftop Garden. 🇮🇹❤️

For them, this trip is all about experiencing Rome properly and seeing those incredible sights they've always wanted to see.

🏛️ The Colosseum
⛲ The Trevi Fountain
🇻🇦 Vatican City
✨ The Spanish Steps
🍝 And, of course, plenty of time for fabulous Italian food along the way!

There's certainly going to be plenty to fit in!

It also shows that while I've been arranging lots of last-minute getaways recently, I'm booking just as far ahead too. 2027 & 2028 holidays are very much being booked now, especially if you already know where you want to go.

Whether you're looking for a few days exploring one of Europe's most iconic cities or something much further afield, it doesn't always have to be a two-week holiday to create some amazing memories. ❤️

Rome is in the diary… 🇮🇹

Next up in my recently booked collection is another last-minute escape – but this time we're heading to Ibiza! ✈️☀️

This couple enjoy the finer things and wanted somewhere that felt that little bit more special, so they'll be staying at AluaSoul Ibiza for a September getaway. 🌴🥂

And if your first thought when you hear Ibiza is clubs and nightlife… think again! 😉

Ibiza can be an absolutely gorgeous choice for couples looking for beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants, sunsets, stylish hotels and a more grown-up Mediterranean escape.

That's another thing I love about what I do – finding a holiday that suits you, rather than simply choosing a destination. The same island can offer completely different experiences depending on where you stay and what you want from your time away.

Another last-minute one sorted and another countdown underway! ✈️

So far this little series has taken us from luxury cruising to Lanzarote, Malta and now Ibiza…

Next stop, Rome! 🇮🇹❤️
