We now manufacture replacement Vice Jaws to suit Swindens and Kennedy Vice, to the same exacting standards as our customers have become accustomed to!

These replacement Jaws are made to be direct replacements for Swindens Vice Jaws. Made in the UK, to exacting standards by the ViceWorks. A choice of types and material is available to suit the required application.

We have progress!!!

We’ve now finished all the main parts of our new Revolution 360 Vice and I have to say, we are blown away by it.

It is even better than we had hoped.

Main features (of this vice)

1. Oversize 4 1/2 inch wide Jaws
2. Vice opens out to 6 inches
3. Revolves 360 Degrees
4. Thrust Bearing assisted Leadscrew (virtually eliminates friction, reduces wear).
5. Small Footprint but Large Capacity
6. Will be made in an ‘Extra Long’ version, adding 2 inches to the Throat (so, will open out to 8 inches).
7. Will be produced in 4, 6 and 8 inch width versions
8. Will be made in aluminium and steel versions.
9. A patented quick change Jaw system will mean it will never be a pain to swap out Jaws again… and there will be plenty of types to choose from.

Developing a new product means physical prototyping… because there’s a limit to what CAD modelling can do.

In the end, it needs to be made to determine how it actually looks in the flesh.

Here’s our very first trial fit of the main parts in the assembly…

Yes, she’s a revolving head Vice…. and will rotate over 90deg even when mounted over a bench top.

Next job is to make the lead screw assembly….

They said ‘we’ cant make things any more… they said we’ve lost our Industrial capacity… in this country.

We said we’d design and make a new Vice… from scratch in Great Britain, and that’s what we’ve done… and it’s well underway now.

We just need people to buy them…. to stop and think twice before buying cheap Chinese imports!!!

Our new Revolution 360 will be hitting the streets soon, made for those who appreciate Quality and understand why it’s important to keep British engineering alive.
