Saturday Yard Work Opportunity – Ideal for 16-18 Year Old ‼️

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable young person to join our small family-run haulage business based at The Old Airfield, Pocklington.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the haulage and transport industry and looking to gain hands-on experience in the working world.

Duties will mainly include:• Washing trailers• General yard duties• Basic defect rectification• Potential warehouse/forklift work for the right person

⏰ Most Saturdays – flexible hours (approximately 6-8 hours per day)

💷 Hourly rate to be discussed

🚗 Own transport is ideal but not essential – local pick-up/drop-off can be arranged if needed.

There may also be opportunities for additional weekday work during half terms and school holidays.

For the right person, this could be an excellent gateway into the haulage industry, with the chance to gain valuable experience and potentially work towards obtaining an HGV licence in the future.

We are a small family business and are happy to take someone under our wing and help them start their working journey.
